I read an article recently about its many health benefits. So I got curious...what's in flounder, in terms of vitamins and minerals?
I found this great webpage (within ThirdAge.com) that allows me to search for nutritional information for most any food item that I can imagine.
Then I got curious about halibut, because that's the other ocean derived fish that is suggested so often in health related magazines and websites. WOW! Halibut rocks!!
My new plan is to eat fish at least three times a week. Flounder is easier to find than halibut (I can purchase frozen flounder at Target). I'll need to drive across town to get the halibut at a local seafood market. But I plan to purchase quite a bit of it and keep it in the freezer so I have plenty to last me for a while.
Now that I've seen the nutritional details, I'm all about eating more fish!
